No other quality marks true corporate leadership—both in private and public sector—than the ability to ultimately get things done and to achieve the right results. Yet in many cases, even given optimal resources, plans remain unimplemented or those that are implemented fail to yield the expected results. The most common problem is what is referred to as ‘analysis paralysis’ demonstrated by un-ending requests by the manager for more statistics, reports, studies, evaluations, meetings, justifications and even site visits.
